POTENIAL USER INTERVIEW
How comfortable do you feel when using an ATM by yourself? Are there any parts of the process that make you feel uncertain or confused?
I’m mostly comfortable using the ATM, but sometimes I get confused with too many options on the screen. I’m worried that I might press the wrong button, especially when I’m in a rush.
Are there any buttons or features on the ATM that are difficult for you to use (e.g., small buttons, touch screens)?
Yes, the touch screen can be difficult. Sometimes it doesn’t respond well, or the buttons are too small. My hands aren’t as steady as before, so it’s tricky to get it right.
Would you prefer an ATM interface that has simpler options or fewer steps? If so, which parts of the process would you simplify?
Yes, I’d like it to be simpler. Maybe just a few main options like “Withdraw,” “Check Balance,” and “Transfer.” It would be helpful to get rid of extra steps or pop-ups that don’t seem necessary.
Would it help if the ATM had voice instructions to guide you through the process?
Yes, I think voice instructions would be very helpful, especially for people who have trouble reading the screen. It would be nice if it told me exactly what to do step by step.
How do you feel about using a cardless ATM system (e.g., using a phone or code instead of a card)? Would this be something you'd be comfortable with, or would you prefer to stick with your card?
I’ve heard about cardless systems, but I’m not comfortable with that yet. I’m used to using my card, and I think it would be harder for me to switch. I would need more time to learn how to use it, and I’d rather stick to what I know.
